Chicago, IL, June 16, 2015 – BTL Architects, Inc. announced the launch of its new website (www.btlarchitects.com) and expansion of its social media presence.
Principal Architect Delph Gustitus said, “Since starting the company, one of my core principles has been to be in service. Not just being a service business; but to really serve others. To do so, we have to be part of the conversation. Our new website, and our new presence on Facebook and Twitter, are exciting new channels for dialogue about the significance of historic preservation and building restoration to contemporary society.”
The new website gives the visitor an overview of the firm’s unique approach to its work with existing buildings, while also serving as a virtual showcase for projects the firm has worked on throughout the Chicago area (including well-known buildings such as The Museum of Science and Industry, The Aqua, The Powhatan, The Hyde Park Bank Building and Farnsworth House). It also includes a newsfeed that offers information for anyone interested in building restoration, historic preservation, energy efficiency and building performance.
“It may sound cliché, but the buildings in which we live and work have a story all their own. It is told in the condition of their facades, the cause and origins of their distress and the history of their repairs,” Mr. Gustitus continues. “I wanted our online presence to be more than a list of services, but a place to share those stories and engage individuals in conversation about new ideas on sustainability, preservation and performance.”
